My college age daughter drove to Louisville for volunteer work at a COVID treatment center and on her way from the hotel to the clinic her 2006 MB started making this very, very loud noise, much louder than the horn and would not stop even with the car was turned off. She was very upset, was 3 hours from home, and frankly did not know what to do. I quickly looked on line and and saw a list of service centers in the area, I called 2 other places but did not get a good feel for the shops, I then look at the Google reviews for GermanTech and called them. Sid answered the call, right away he made me feel comfortable with him, GermanTech, and that he would make my daughter feel safe. He gave me a few options to get my vehicle to him, and when it got to him he and the service team quickly diagnosed the problem, told me there were a few ways to fix the problem, one that would take $1,100 and another for $150. We came to agreement on a plan, it was fixed in a few hours, and she was on her way. At the end I asked Sid if I could buy the staff cookies or donuts and he just said no, knowing he could help under this situation and our gratitude was more than enough. The facility was clean, the service team was very professional, and again Sid was great. While we rarely get to Louisville and I may never have a need for GermanTech again in the future, I highly recommend folks who need their vehicle serviced in the Louisville area to take their car to GermanTech - and ask for Sid.
